!BAPTISM: Another baptism date for Charles is listed as 19 Oct 1900 (Confirmed 19 Oct 1900) f rom the Duchesne Ward records, #1055,
MARRIAGE: There are two marriage dates for Charles & Maud. The first is 18 Feb 1899, Provo , Utah, Utah. Marriage records for Utah County 1897- 1905, Book 3, pg. 290. Film # 0488400 . The second marriage is from the marr. cert. in my possession wich indicates they were also married 15 Sep 1905, Farmington Davis, Utah. His residence is listed as Mercur,,Utah. Maud's residence is listed as Salt Lake City, SLake, UT. Married by Justice of the Peace: Ezra F. Richards.

DEATH: Charles William died in an automobile accident two miles west of Vernal. They wer e in his pickup truck with "Mr. Odekirk" driving. They were on their way to Jensen on business concerning the Duchesne Labor Day Celebration. Reports indicate that they failed to make a turn in the road, and that the truck turned over several times, landing with four wheels in the air. Charles William suffered a severed artery in the wrist, from which he lost so much blood that a transfusion was necessary when the two men were taken to the Rich hospital in Vernal. Mr. Odekirk suffered from shock and minor injuries. This information was take n from the Uintah Basin Record, dated Friday, August 2nd, 1935.

~Charles William Baker died in an automobile accident on Highway 40, 2 miles west of Vernal , Utah. He suffered a severed artery in the wrist and bled to death."
